So guys, we’ve come a long way in making the movie opening and producing an evaluation, I can now say we are done and dusted in our journey of making a movie opening and the evaluation to go with it. I must admit that I’ve enjoyed creating this opening as well as the evaluation. A lot of credit goes to my teacher Mr Middleton in helping me to make my movie opening and evaluation as he taught me the basics as you’ll see in my earlier posts such as, keyframing and making idents.

Evaluation Complete
My evaluation is now complete and I am currently in the process of adding the evaluation URL’s to my ‘evaluation’ page so if you want to watch my evaluation questions, please click the ‘evaluation’ tab. Each of the evaluation URL’S need to be inserted in order as I want it to look presentable in order starting from question 1 descending to the last
My film opening is officially complete!
After a lengthy spell of editing and layering my sound and initially having export my film, I realised that my film opening had a few glitches due to dead frames in the Adobe Premiere Pro software, however I immediately amended these and my movie opening is now complete!
Still a problem
My movie opening is all but complete however there are still errors which need sorting out. Having recently removed dead frames, there is now a sound effect missing which I will be adding as soon as i get a chance to do so. I’m very near completing the opening. Stay tuned!
Finally!
Today I finished off my film opening at last! Removed all the dead frames and made the necessary amendments and I’ve got to say its been a very lengthy journey in making my movie opening. I have now finished this and will soon be uploading my movie opening to YouTube. At the moment its in the ‘final renders’ folder in the schools media shared folder. Here is a screenshot of the folder which includes our individual folders containing our personal work and the ‘final renders’ folder which consists of our final movie openings, the finished product.
Evaluation
My evaluation of the movie opening will be uploaded to YouTube and then the URL’s of each of the clips will be uploaded to my blog due to the blog not having enough memory to present 7 separate evaluation clips and my movie opening. I will do the same with my film opening once I have completed it.
The name!
So guys, I’ve finally come up with a new name! Sat down and thought about it and discussed it with my teacher and I came up with ‘The Void’ as a name for my movie opening, hope you all like it. I have just watched the finished product of my movie opening after export however there are a few minor glitches that need amending which I will do immediately. Stay tuned for the evaluation!
Evaluation
My evaluation clips are ready to be dropped onto the software and crafted together in order to create the evaluation. I will be adding my moovly creations onto this to show proficient ICT skills and it will also make my evaluation look a lot more presentable.
Moovly
Never come across such website before! Staggering what you can do these days online. I have decided that I will create my own ‘Moovs’ on Moovly and these will be added to the beginning of each of my evaluation clips. You can animate your own questions and add effects such as ‘handwriting’ which makes the question look as though someone is writing it out. I have used different effects for each of the questions. Stay tuned to find out!
Evaluation footage
So guys, today I filmed my evaluation footage, in front of me I had my camera set up on the tripod and in front of that I had my laptop which had notes about each of my questions on it. I knew what to talk about so all i did was make notes just to briefly remind me of what I need to talk about. Now i have my evaluation production which needs to be done in the next few weeks
